It pays the bills and provides great opportunities to develop interpersonal and managerial skills. I achieved ‘Person In Charge’ (PIC) status within 18 months and learned new diplomacy skills through dealing with challenges.
V&A Dundee Design Museum – Young People’s Collective
Carbon Marks Art Installation. 2024-2025
I joined the YPC to contribute to a 12 week project creating an art installation in response the museum’s exhibition ‘A Fragile Correspondence’ in March 2025 and look forward to more artistic projects with this group.

Futura Games – Junior Game Designer 2022-2023
This was an internship working on some of the early development of ‘Shadows are Alive’ (now on Steam). It gave me my first experience of working professionally and provided opportunities to develop skills in game design and documentation.

I joined the club in 2021 and applied for the role of Events Secretary when it became available. My intention was to strengthen social connections between members and I successfully increased the number and variety of social events in this short period.
